One-on-One Workshops

One-on-One Workshops

It’s winter and for a photographer, it’s the best time to learn and to get inspired.  So this Sunday, I’ll be in Montreal attending a workshop presented by the Simones. This is offered by PPOC-Québec and it promises to be very interesting but more importantly, very inspiring. I’m also very much looking forward to the PPOC National Convention in Halifax in April; there will be many extraordinary speakers offering a wonderful selection of  high-quality workshops.

I do however believe that the best form of training is one where the instructor can give you his full attention. A one-on-one workshop with a professional photographer is the best way to quickly learn advanced techniques. I offer one-on-one on the following topics:

- Portfolio: review and constructive critique
- Documents used by wedding photographers (contracts, price lists, etc.)
- How to communicate effectively with clients
- Equipment
- How to prepare for a session
- Indoor and outdoor shooting and lighting techniques (off-camera flash, studio, etc.)
- Post-production work techniques (Photoshop, Lightroom, etc.)
- Creating digital albums
- Etc.

I’m available weekdays and some weekends. I can go to you and offer training in your environment; my radius is anywhere from Ottawa to Quebec City or Toronto. There’s an additional charge for kilometers travelled.
