Tout un honneur d’avoir la première page du magazine national « Gallerie »!
Très content aussi que ce soit une photo de mon ami Carl car c’est la personne qui m’a le plus aidé au cours de ma carrière et ce, de tellement de façons. Cette photo a reçu une mention excellence lors de la dernière compétition nationale et fait partie de la collection du photographe portraitiste de l’année 2023.

C’est aussi tout un honneur de recevoir une telle reconnaissance. Si on m’avait dit à mes débuts en photographie qu’on aurait dit cela de moi un jour … j’aurais trouvé ça bien drôle! On ne sait jamais ce que la vie nous réserve 🙂
Et recevoir le titre de photographe de l’année en même temps que le Yousuf Karsh Lifetime Award est vraiment la cerise sur le gâteau. 2023 aura été une année extraordinaire pour moi.
Un gros merci à vous tous qui continuez de m’encourager soit en me faisant confiance pour vos photos de famille ou en me donnant le privilège de créér vos souvenirs de mariage et d’événement corporatifs. Merci à vous qui m’encouragez constament sur les médias sociaux en « likant » ou en laissant un commentaire sur mes post. Et bien sûr, merci à vous qui participez à mes séances créatives. J’ai beau penser que je suis un photographe créatif mais souvent les idées viennent de vous. Vous saurez vous reconnaitre 🙂

Quite an honor to be on the front page of the national magazine « Gallerie »! I’m also very happy that it’s a photo of my friend Carl, because he’s the person who’s helped me the most in my career, and in so many ways. This photo received a Mention of Excellence at the last national competition and is part of the Portrait Photographer of the Year 2023 collection.

It’s also quite an honor to receive such recognition. If someone had told me when I started out in photography that they’d say that about me one day … I’d have laughed! Proof that you can’t take life too seriously 🙂
And to receive the title of photographer of the year at the same time as the Yousuf Karsh Lifetime Award is really the icing on the cake. 2023 will have been an extraordinary year for me.
A big thank you to all of you who continue to encourage me either by trusting me with your family photos or by giving me the privilege of creating your wedding and corporate event memories. Thanks to you who constantly like my social media posts and leaving nice commentaries. And a very big thank you to those who participate in my creative sessions. Sometimes, the best ideas comes from you, not me. You know who you are 🙂
